Ever since I saw this post by Le Fashion, I can't get enough of the cat eye look with eyeliner.
It looks so chic and simple here, but whenever I try to cat my eyes up a little, I look like I should be standing on a street corner! Has anyone seen any tutorials for a tasteful cat eye look, or do you have any tips of your own to share?
PS- LA trip this weekend! I love how I haven't started packing and I am looking at pictures of cat eye make-up online- FOCUS, girl!! ;) Have a great weekend, everyone!
I'm not good at it, but I know there's a winged-liner tutorial on Cupcakes and Cashmere -- still working up the nerve to try it. Have a fab trip, love!

ReplyDeletethis one is pretty helpful.
Totally agree. I've actually been using the cat-eye look myself lately. Love it.
ReplyDeleteLove the cat eye look! I find that using a black eyeliner (like Revlon Color-Stay), lining the lash line and then taking an eyeliner brush (Mac has a great one) and smoothing it out, makes it a bit easier. You can control it better this way. Liquid liner tends to end up not so good for me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tips, ladies!
ReplyDeleteHow did I forget about Cupcakesandcashmere's tutorials?
And @flutter: that was super-informative and very scientific (scalene triangles?!) Love.
