Furniture Shopping

This was post was WAY easier to do in my head: "Snap a picture or two on camera, upload at coffee shop, go furniture shopping"........... In reality, taking pictures of yourself is quite hard. I have to give major kudos to Chloe of The Chloe Conspiracy for taking her own pictures and looking so cute every time!

Maybe it will be easier to take the pictures when I have furniture to set the camera on? Which is the point of my day off today-- furniture hunting! Where, oh, where do you find area rugs and a comfy-yet-stylish couch in a place that is brand new? Hopefully I will find out today!

Simple outfit for Furniture-Hunting:
Doki Geki jacket, ON striped shirt, Anlo Jeans, Toms shoes


I tried a red lip today and am on the fence about it... a little too intense for day with the pale skin... oh, and trust me, this was the best picture of the batch before I gave up!
See what I mean? No one to tell you that you can't see your shoes in the pictures, that your hair looks flat or that you look like you are sleepy!

    You did a great job!! Taking pics is a brutal process (at least for me)...Chloe knows how to get.it.done.

    I love the military jacket. I'm such a huge fan of this look, and the stripes underneath add a great dimension. And I really like the red lipstick. The color looks great against your pale skin!

    I love the red lips! I felt like they may be too intense on me a well (pale freckly skin isn't an ideal palette) but I loved it. Good luck on the furniture mission xoxo Marissa

    i can definitely relate - I've tried taking pictures myself once, and it definitely did not work...
