Leanne Marshall Spring 2013 Bridal Collection

I have been a Leanne Marshall fan ever since she was on Project Runway. (She won Season 5- yea!) I love her architectural-yet-ethereal designs and am a big fan of her bridal collections. If my wonderfully talented mother was not going to make my wedding dress I would definitely want an LM creation. She just posted a few dresses from her Spring 2013 collection on her blog so I thought I would share:

Those pockets are awesome and the tailoring is exceptional! I could wear these to brunch or out on the town.

I would throw myself a party just to have an excuse to wear this if it was in my closet....

Etsy Finds!

Sometimes I need to close the laptop and walk away. I could probably spend days on end browsing Pinterest and Etsy if given time off work and a bag of giant marshmallows for sustenance...not saying this specific scenario happened -ahem- recently; it was more of a hypothetical situation....

Yeah, let's just look at a few of my finds:
1. I love organization that is as attractive as it is useful, so this box of drawers is awesome.
2. Twig Branch Bobby Pins are so cute and so perfect for fall!
3. I have already mentioned how much I love onegarnetgirl's creations--look at these raw diamond studs and tell me you don't love her, too!4. Hand dyed scarf in a bright, cheery hue? Yes, please!

I Find The Strangest Stuff On Etsy!

Oh, Etsy, you never cease to amaze and confuse me!

This seller makes the most curious art pieces. There is a really creepy robot baby piece, too, but you can look that up at your own risk!


Yup, that's a Barbie party on that shirt. Gotta get me one of those...for every day of the week! ;)

Birthday Gift: Made By Hank!

By now, everyone knows I love Etsy (or click here and here to be reminded), and my friend (check her out here) loves Etsy as much if not more than I do, so it was no surprise that my birthday present from her had Etsy origins :) I had drooled over her Made By Hank purse a while ago and, being a good friend with a great memory, she snapped one up for me when the new collection came out! Each of the purses is handmade and the attention to detail is awe-inspiring. Check out the Made by Hank page here!

Current Etsy Wishlist: Rings!

I love shopping on Etsy.com. And by shopping, I mean looking because if I bought everything I wanted I would be typing this from inside my car...but then again, I would be living in my car with fabulous rings on every finger, so life wouldn't be so bad....

Anyway, I constantly blab about my fascination with Etsy and how much I love my onegarnetgirl ring (here and here), so she is represented in the selection, natch, but there are other favorites, too. I have a new favorite I found off of a link on exPress-o's blog, so thanks Diana! One thing I have noticed is that I never do anything halfway with my jewels...I either want super simple/understated or super bold/garish.

'Net Savvy- OneGarnetGirl on Etsy!

You gotta love a girl who enjoys some sparkle! I am big into rings and OneGarnetGirl's store on Etsy.com always has the cutest cuts, prettiest colors, and yet has an unfussy, simple style. She makes cute necklaces and earrings, too, but the rings! Here are a few of my favorites:

I own one of her rings that I wear constantly, but with the holidays coming up, I am trying to decide on a new ring to ask Santa for... but narrowing it down to one is hard! I love rings, esp stackables, and can't leave the house without one, but what what is your go-to piece? A watch? Necklace? Earrings?
